The Province has two types of sources for petroleum extraction at the Atlantic ocean coast, located in the city of Muanda:
off-shore (n the open ocean) &
on-shore
(on land).
The Potential of oil reserves
Several oil wells are located in a string on the mainland and off the Congolese coast.
